About Wilma

Growing up in Gary, Indiana, Wilma's parents always taught her and her siblings the importance of hard work and keeping God first. They taught them to always do and give their best — timeless lessons she has instilled in her own family. After college, Wilma held various office and sales positions, which she enjoyed and prospered in. She is now retired and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and others.

Wilma was recently asked: “Considering all the things that you have done, all the things that you are doing and all of your gifts and talents, given the opportunity, what are two things that you would like to do most?” Suddenly and without hesitation, clothing design and writing children's books rushed to the forefront of her thoughts. It was at that point that she realized it was time to fulfill her dreams by utilizing the gifts God had placed in her.

Immediately, Wilma started writing her first book, Heavenly Rewards, offering a Christian-based interactive parent-child reading experience. Her second book, 5 Crowns, is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Wake Up To Praise was a joy to write, showing unity, love, encouragement, and support for one another — “Teamwork Makes The Dream Work!”
